My job is to blend multiple therapeutic methods to help you gain self compassion and confidence, apply new perspectives, and create routines & habits you actually want to keep. Doing this means you can focus your energy on what truly matters - You!
The Toolkit
Approaches We’ll Use in Therapy
Insight Oriented Therapies: ‘Attachment’ & ‘Control-Mastery’
Understand and shift how early experiences and relationships shape the way you relate to yourself, others, and the world.
The therapist extends a safe and collaborative space to explore patterns that may no longer serve you, develop compassion for how they formed, and gently loosen their hold—so you can move toward relationships and goals that feel more aligned and fulfilling.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Flexibly cope with challenges and achieve your goals
Together, we’ll identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with balanced perspectives. We embrace 'good enough,' rather than striving for perfection.
CBT is a practical approach. We’ll break things down into small, achievable steps you can practice outside of therapy.
Strengths Based
Harness your unique strengths to increase hope and fuel your growth
Our strengths are often unseen and overlooked. Some strengths were gained by navigating life’s challenges.
We’ll collaboratively uncover these strengths through techniques like re-storying, mindfulness, journaling, and a timeline of personal successes. You can then harness these internal resources to build a more fulfilling life.
Neuroscience
Tap into your brain’s natural ability to change.
We’ll draw on your' brain’s neuroplasticity (natural ability to change) to help you feel safe and in control of emotions!
Neuropsychotherapy offers a path forward by bridging the gap between brain science and healing from talk therapy. By releasing trapped emotions and physical tension stored in your body's nervous system, you can ‘rewire’ your brain so you move from feeling stuck to feeling calm and secure.
Measurement Based Care
Our collaborative navigation system for therapy.
You complete quick check-ins online between sessions. These validated tools jumpstart our work initially and then help us see how things are really going over time (not just what we remember in the moment). We’ll celebrate wins and pivot when needed.
This approach makes therapy more transparent, effective, and collaborative.
Are these approaches effective?
Yes! These are well-researched and effective treatments.
They’ll help you get unstuck during life changes and relationship challenges. They can lower the volume of worry (anxiety) and lift you out from sadness and feeling overwhelmed (depression). The techniques also can also help you heal after intense life events, when you may feel submerged or on edge (trauma and PTSD).
Value of these Approaches
Sessions fluidly blend all these strategies to reach multiple goals!
Integrating these approaches into sessions means you don’t experience ‘cookie cutter’ therapy and stilted conversations. Instead, your therapy is unique to your specific experience and can support more than one goal, including:
Improved focus, clarity, and decision-making
Stronger emotional regulation and coping with stress
Greater self-esteem, self-compassion, and sense of stability
Healthier, more connected relationships
Better sleep, routines, and daily functioning
Increased resilience, fulfillment, and overall well-being
